We don't recommend using different email domains or email addresses for cold emailing since this doesn't really help much with increasing open or reply rates.
Using different email domains or email addresses can cause your email reputation to be negatively affected. Below are some things to keep in mind:
- Being marked as spam or deactivated email address - Your email addresses can be negatively affected by being marked as spam or being deactivated by your email service. This can happen especially if you're only using those email addresses to run cold email sequences through Interseller. Email services can detect if you're only using those email addresses to send cold emails and if there's not much email activity going on within your inbox. When they detect this, they can mark your emails as spam or even deactivate your email addresses.
- Recycled email copy - Using multiple email addresses with the same email copy can negatively affect your email reputation as well. Email services can detect if similar language is used so if you're reusing email copy that isn't performing well across multiple email addresses, then it can cause more of your emails to be marked as spam.
